Guidelines for the marketing material
DEADLINE TO SUBMIT MATERIAL: 30TH JANUARY 2023
PHOTO MATERIAL
This material is for marketing purposes.
Each dancer must submit a total of FOUR IMAGES.
Divided as following:
• Two portraits/headshots
• Two movement/dancing images – full body
GUIDELINES:
• Each image must be between 500Kb and 5Mb
• Each image should have an as calm/clean/plain color background as possible.
• Please send images where there is some free space around you (see example on the pdf below).
NB. You must own the rights to all images. The images will be used for marketing purposes in connection with #10duets10days and will be used as a part of a graphic layout. This means that the images might be edited in order to fit the graphic identity.
When uploading the images, please rename each image with your name plus the photographer’s name like this: Tom Smith_ph.John Doe
VIDEO MATERIAL
This material is for marketing purposes.
N.B: the video material will be edited for marketing purposes. Not all video material will be used.
Each dancer must submit a total of TWO VIDEOS.
Divided as following:
• One interview video
• One dancing video
GUIDELINES:
• Both videos must be recorded in the same location, with the same background.
• The background should be as clean and light as possible (e.g. a white or light colored wall + a good lighting, preferably natural light, please avoid location with poor lighting).
• Both videos must be recorded horizontally, in 4K.
• Both videos must be recorded on a tripod or similar, in order for the videos to be still.
• Both videos must be recorded in a place, where there is no sound disturbance (e.g. wind, cars, people talking, echo etc.)
GUIDELINES INTERVIEW VIDEO:
You will need to record yourself answering a list of questions and following instructions.
You can read the questions/instructions by yourself, or ask a person to read them to you.
• Please, when you start recording, stay in silence for 5 seconds before answering/following an instruction. When you finish, wait another 5 seconds before answering the next one – do this every time.
• Please start answering each question by repeating the question. E.g:
Question: “Why do you dance?”
Answer: “I dance because….”
• Please answer all questions in english.
GUIDELINES DANCING VIDEO:
You will need to record:
• 30 sec – 1 minute of free improvisation (show the best of you!)
• 30 sec of party rave (favorite party moves)
• 30 sec of crazy shake
You can choose to record all three tasks in one take, or record each task separately.
